Tharp offers nine standard finishes. All stain applications incorporate a seven-step, hand-rubbed process for a beautiful “furniture quality” finish. A hand rubbed finish is superior to the spray finish that many manufacturers use today. Standard hand rubbed stains include: White Wash, Natural, Golden Pecan, Nutmeg, Cabot Walnut, Dark Walnut, Café Brown, Rosewood, and Red Mahogany.

Using only the highest quality oil based paints, primers, vinyl sealers, and glazes… Tharp’s award winning artisans offer the following painted finishes also available with burnish and glaze applications… or a custom color or match can be formulated.

Our Cottage Series finish combines a customized blend of colored stain and glaze to deliver a “Pottery Barn” look and feel. We offer eight distinct and unique color options to choose from to blend with the full color spectrum in your home. Whether you use this finish to accentuate a small segment of cabinets or the entire room, it is sure to please.

For those seeking an old world or antiqued finish Tharp artisans can masterfully apply a unique distressed look to all cabinets. This finish combines the application of wood markings as well as variations in color treatments to deliver that very unique and classic custom look. Tharp offers a variety of colors and distress levels based on your preference.
