Construction Methods

Whether you are planning to build a new home or remodel your current one, it is very likely that cabinetry will be part of your project. Cabinetry is the only “furniture” you’ll buy that will be permanently affixed to your home. The quality, style, and longevity of your cabinetry will affect your family’s lifestyle and the value of your home for years to come. The following is an overview of cabinet construction, component materials, finishes, and distribution which you should consider as you plan your project.

  • Face Frame Cabinets
  • European Frameless

Our face frame cabinets are constructed with a 1-3/4″ wide frame in the wood specie of your choice. Frames are assembled using pocket screws. Cabinet sides and shelves are 1/2″ thick furniture board or plywood. All exposed sides have an applied real wood 1/4″ thick panel. Shelves are 3/4″ thick, full-depth and fully adjustable in base and upper cabinets. The hinges are a three way adjustable European concealed hinge with a lifetime warranty.

Our European frameless cabinets are constructed of 3/4″ thick furniture board or plywood, doweled and glued. Front edges of the box are taped with a matching PVC edge tape. Exposed sides can be finished with an integrated wood veneer side or with end panels. Shelves are 3/4″ thick, full-depth and fully adjustable in base and upper cabinets. Doors are attached to the cabinet box with European full overlay hinges with a lifetime warranty.
