Cabinet Maker

+ Job Description

This position consists of about 85% standing and 15% walking. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Must strictly adhere to company safety policy, including wearing safety glasses, closed-toe shoes, hearing protection, and using machine guards where/when required. A wide variety of hand tools are used on a daily basis, including staple guns, nail guns, table saws, chop saw, cross cut saw, drills, sanders, CNC machine.

Delivery Driver

+ Job Description

The Delivery Driver works with their team to load cabinets at our production facility and deliver them safely to the end customer or builder.

This position consists of about 10% standing, 60% walking, and 30 % sitting. Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds. Strict adherence to Tharp's safety policy including wearing safety glasses where required. A back brace and gloves are recommended and provided, as well as a delivery truck, hand dolly and loading and securing devices. You will be in contact with contractors, customers and the public on a routine basis.

+ Duties & Responsibilities

  • Load cabinets and parts into a truck in a safe manner ensuring the load is well protected and secure
  • Locate missing parts needed to complete shipments
  • Drive Tharp's delivery vehicles, mostly large straight trucks, throughout Colorado and neighboring states when delivering cabinets and parts
  • Unload cabinets and parts at destination and inspect load for any damage that may have occurred in transit
  • Conduct vehicle inspections per DOT regulations
  • Clean and Maintain vehicle
  • Other duties as assigned

+ Qualifications

  • At least 6 months of previous experience driving delivery trucks
  • Must have good judgment in all aspects of job, i.e. loading efficiency, securing the load, locating the destination and safely unloading the materials
  • Must have good truck driving skills
  • Must interface professionally with customers
  • Works well both independently and in teams
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Colorado Drivers license required and driving record must meet Tharp's requirements
  • High School diploma or GED desired but not required
 

Human Resources Administrator


+ Job Description

  1. Assist in the overall recruitment process: Follows appropriate guidelines for internal job posting, external advertising requests and selection of qualified candidates; Reviews all internal and external applications to ensure that they meet minimum requirements. Makes formal job offer, conducts employment references, criminal background checks and drugs screens as part of the post offer process; Coordinates onboarding, orientation and start date; Communicates with internal and external candidates not selected maintaining positive employee relations during the employment process.
  2. Ensures compliance with state and federal regulations through administrative record keeping of employment files, Ensures posting of required information in accordance with Federal and State requirements.
  3. Provides administrative support for the worker's compensation claims process. Reports work related injuries through the WC Carrier website; creates folders to maintain claim information, updates spreadsheets, etc.
  4. Assists in the administration of employee benefits programs including medical, dental and ancillary coverage; enters benefit changes into HRIS system.
  5. Performs administrative functions in support of HR needs. Maintaining and updating employee personnel files. Updates HRIS and other systems timely. Processes invoices. Ensuring supplies are fully stocked.
  6. Assists with other HR projects, events and activities as needed. Participates in community meetings as required

+ Qualifications

Education/Training: Associate Degree or Bachelor a plus. Experience Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.

Experience: A minimum of two years of experience in office environment required; Human Resources experience preferred.

Skill(s): Proficient PC Skills; advanced user level of word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other applicable software. Ability to communicate and interact clearly, courteously, and professionally with residents and staff at all levels of the organization. Proven competence in handling confidential information. Strong skills in planning, organizing and handling multiple tasks with short deadlines. Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills. Ability to operate various office equipment and machines.
