Finish Engineer

+ Job Description

Your Mission:

Deliver high quality, aesthetically pleasing product on time with strong communication. Drive new finish development and ensure consistent practices are executed by all Finishers.

Core responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Maintaining a safe work environment- Be aware of safety hazards and unsafe work behaviors; resolve and escalate appropriately.

• Maintaining floor presence- The Finish Engineer is considered a first responder on department related issues. The Finish Engineer must maintain accessible presence on the department floor at all times.

• Support Leads-Maintaining product flow- It is the Leads responsibility to manage product flow according to Tharp Production guidelines to ensure optimal Quality and Delivery. Your support will be vital to daily success.

• Maintaining equipment- Finish Engineers are to perform daily first article inspection on each piece of equipment within the first hour of operation. If issues are identifies, create Maintenance Work Order and provide support.

• Ensure Product Quality- Product Quality is managed through first article inspections, random sample inspections and dry mill tests are to be performed daily. The Finish Engineer is responsible for stopping the production of defective product, root causing the issue and addressing or escalating the issue for corrective measures.

• Facilitate Training Program- The Finish Engineer will ensure that all operators are certified or trained toward certification while in department according to Tharp Work Instructions. The Finish Engineer must direct training measures and verify certification upon training completion.

• Work Instruction Integrity- A work instruction must exist for every major function within the department. It is the Finish Engineer who creates and maintains all Finish Work Instructions.

• Drive Process Improvement- Evaluate and identify process deficiencies and product opportunities. Work with Continuous Improvement Team to drive change with buy-in.

• Monitor Adherence to Tharp Policies- The Finish Engineer is a key department leader that ensures adherence to Tharp Policies. Any violation observed needs to be immediately reported to the appropriate manager.

Production Engineer I, II, III

Production Engineer Production Engineer I, II, III

Department: Designated Team / Business Unit Reports to: Team BUL and/or as assigned

General Purpose: Manufacturing Quality and efficiency starts with the Production Engineer. The Production Engineer converts customer/sales concepts into a manufactural product. The Production Engineer works with Sales, Designers and Manufacturing personnel to accurately convert Sales’ designs into a product that can be manufactured and installed at a level of quality that ensures a great customer experience.

Duties/Responsibilities: • Produce quality engineering solutions according to the production engineering process.

• Support Operations, Installation and Service to ensure optimal customer experience.

• Specific functions as directed by the supervisor to facilitate training and effective output.

• Engage with Team and Technical Advisors to insure Safe and correct methods are used to facilitate requested output.

• Maintain a safe and quality based effort for any products that are processed. • Develop skills and proficiency at assigned tasks.

• Clean up work area each day in accordance with plant safety and house cleaning standards.

• Process work in a timely, quality focused manner.

• Display a basic understanding of the information contained in the Tharp cut sheets and prints

• Attention to detail

• Display a baseline of understanding of the Tharp Quality requirements

Accounting Specialist

Job Responsibilities • Accounting Generalist is responsible for processing bi-weekly payroll for the business. Input payroll JE into QB (10 hours every other week)

• Benefit administration – reviewing benefit invoices each month, comparing to employee payroll deductions, resolving discrepancies. Handle questions from employees (10 hours each month)

• Daily processing of sales orders. (2-3 hours per day)

• Credit Application processing. (1 hour each week)

• Warranty orders processing for production builders (Thrive, Brookfield…) (10 hour per month)

• Sales tax filing each month, quarter, year. (10 hours per month)

• Works as accounting team member to improve processes.

Outside Sales- Builder Business

General Purpose: The Outside Sales- Builder Business position actively pre-qualifies, pursues, engages, pre-qualifies and closes Cabinet and related products and service sales to new Builder/Contractor Customers.

Duties/Responsibilities: Fully identifying, qualifying, and selling Tharp Cabinets to the Builder/Contractor Business segment of the organization. This segment of business is vital to the organization and requires comprehensive pre-qualification effort inclusive of documented reporting of prospect prior to full sales support. The Builder Business consists of a company defined customer profile/outline and is a specific customer base where sales focus is to be placed. The following is required and necessary for the execution of the Sales activity.

• Develop and close new Builder/Contractor Business. • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills. • Customer interface, management and maintenance. • Sales material development and presentation. • Concept and final design and drawing development. • Budget and price estimate development. • File creation and management as it pertains to customer development and management.

Working relationships: The job will consist of daily communication requirements with a wide variety of people, including but not limited to; Contractors/Builder executives, Contractor/Builder site personnel, Tharp personnel including upper managers, A/R and A/P, Manufacturing personnel, Service staff, Delivery staff, Installation Staff, and will require professionalism and business acumen.

Anticipated work schedule: Monday through Friday during regular business hours. There will be occasional overtime that may be required to complete work requirements as well as Saturday Showroom staffing once per month.

Equipment: Usual office equipment as supplied by Company – phone, computer, fax, copier, automobile etc. will be used on a daily basis.

Physical Activities and Safety: 10% standing, 10% walking, 80% sitting - Must strictly adhere to company safety policy, including, wearing safety equipment (glasses, hardhat, etc.) where and when required. Program Manager

General Purpose: The Program Manager actively manages the requirements of an assigned Builder program for all Tharp internal operational requirements and efficiencies.

Duties/Responsibilities: The Tharp internal requirements include a wide array of actionable effort and the functional job requirements include the following as required and necessary for the execution of a product and/or service order through our manufacturing facility.

• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.

• Participation with a Tharp Sales rep for customer development and relationships.

• Customer interface and management

• Builder Program Scheduling administration and requirements communication

• Builder Program Pricing administration and requirements communication

• Concept and Final design and drawing development

• Price Estimate development

• File creation and management as it pertains to builder programs and job creation.

• Assist and coordinate all Service and Warranty requirements through appropriate internal resources.

• On site field measurements.

• Order Entry

• Other duties as may be assigned by President or Manager. Working relationships: The job will consist of daily communication requirements with a wide variety of people, including but not limited to; Tharp personnel including upper managers, A/R and A/P, Manufacturing personnel, Service staff, Delivery staff, Installation Staff, Contractors/Builder executives, Contractor/Builder Site personnel and will require professionalism and business acumen.

Cabinet Maker

+ Job Description

This position consists of about 85% standing and 15% walking. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Must strictly adhere to company safety policy, including wearing safety glasses, closed-toe shoes, hearing protection, and using machine guards where/when required. A wide variety of hand tools are used on a daily basis, including staple guns, nail guns, table saws, chop saw, cross cut saw, drills, sanders, CNC machine.

Delivery Driver

+ Job Description

The Delivery Driver loads product at the plant and delivers it safely to the end user. This is normally the last step in the process of filling a customer’s order.

+ Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Load cabinets and parts into a truck in a safe manner ensuring the load is well protected and secure
  • Locate missing parts needed to complete shipment
  • Drive Tharp’s delivery vehicles, mostly large straight trucks, throughout Colorado and neighboring states when delivering cabinets and parts.
  • Unload cabinets and parts at destination and inspect load for any damage that may have occurred in transit
  • Conduct vehicle inspections per DOT regulations
  • Clean and Maintain vehicle
  • Other duties as assigned

Outside Contacts: Contractors, customers and the public on a routine basis

Equipment: Delivery truck, hand dolly, loading and securing devices

Physical Activities and Safety: 10% standing, 60% walking, 30 % sitting - Must be able to lift up to 100lbs. Strict adherence to Tharp’s safety policy including wearing safety glasses where required. A back brace and gloves are recommended and provided.
