Cabinet Maker

+ Job Description

This position consists of about 85% standing and 15% walking. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Must strictly adhere to company safety policy, including wearing safety glasses, closed-toe shoes, hearing protection, and using machine guards where/when required. A wide variety of hand tools are used on a daily basis, including staple guns, nail guns, table saws, chop saw, cross cut saw, drills, sanders, CNC machine.

Delivery Driver

+ Job Description

The Delivery Driver loads product at the plant and delivers it safely to the end user. This is normally the last step in the process of filling a customer’s order.

+ Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Load cabinets and parts into a truck in a safe manner ensuring the load is well protected and secure
  • Locate missing parts needed to complete shipment
  • Drive Tharp’s delivery vehicles, mostly large straight trucks, throughout Colorado and neighboring states when delivering cabinets and parts.
  • Unload cabinets and parts at destination and inspect load for any damage that may have occurred in transit
  • Conduct vehicle inspections per DOT regulations
  • Clean and Maintain vehicle
  • Other duties as assigned

Outside Contacts: Contractors, customers and the public on a routine basis

Equipment: Delivery truck, hand dolly, loading and securing devices

Physical Activities and Safety: 10% standing, 60% walking, 30 % sitting - Must be able to lift up to 100lbs. Strict adherence to Tharp’s safety policy including wearing safety glasses where required. A back brace and gloves are recommended and provided.

+ Job Qualifications:

  • Must have good judgment in all aspects of job, i.e. loading efficiency, securing the load, locating the destination and safely unloading the materials
  • Must have good truck driving skills
  • Must interface professionally with customers

Education or Formal Training: H.S. Diploma/GED preferred but not required

Licenses Needed: Colorado Drivers license and driving record that meets Tharp’s requirements

Experience: At least 6 months of previous experience driving delivery trucks



Maintenance Lead

+ Job Description

  • Design and Implement PM Program
  • Capable of repairing and troubleshooting equipment and systems including CNC's
  • Implements and Utilizes lock-out / tag-out, Confined Space, and hazard Material Handling procedures.
  • Provides direct support to production, and quality systems related to ensuring company policies and procedures along with ensuring full compliance with audit criteria.
  • Responsible for completing technical work assignments.
  • Capable of identifying equipment parts and components that are required to repair and maintain equipment.
  • Capable of performing preventive, predictive, and proactive maintenance with normal technical assistance.

  • Must have reading, writing, and verbal skills

Outside Sales/Business Development

The Outside Sales- Business Development position actively pursues, engages, pre-qualifies and closes Cabinet and related products and service sales to new Customers. The primary Targets for potential business will be Designers, Architects and product specifiers with a secondary on Developers (Multi Family and Residential) as well as other business possibilities and opportunities.

+ Job Responsibilities

Fully identifying, qualifying, and selling Tharp Cabinets maintaining a primary focus on Professional Architects and Designers. The Design Professional segment of the market is a key part of the organizations sales strategy and requires comprehensive customer pre-qualification effort and Partner Program implementation. This primary market segment target consist of attributes that have been outlined within a company defined customer profile/outline and is the guideline for the direct efforts. The following is required and necessary for the execution of the Sales activity.

  • Develop and close new Business and Partner agreements.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Customer interface, management and maintenance.
  • Sales Material development and presentation.
  • Concept and Final design and drawing development.
  • Budget/Price Estimate development.
  • File creation and management as it pertains to customer development and management.

Sales Support

The Sales Support actively processes the Drawing and Pricing requirements Tharp Sales Team to facilitate internal operational requirements and efficiencies.

+ Job Responsibilities

The Tharp internal requirements include a wide array of actionable effort and the functional job requirements include the following as required and necessary for the execution of a product and/or service order through our manufacturing facility.

  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Participation with the Tharp Sales team for customer development and relationships.
  • Concept and Final design and drawing development (Currently in Cabinet Vision, a cabinet design and manufacturing software)
  • Price Estimate development (Currently in a proprietary Software Solution with a planned Cabinet Vision software solution implementation)
  • Customer interface and management (Primarily Internal with occasional External Customer interface)
  • Document Prep for Order Entry
  • File creation and management as it pertains to job and programs creation.
