Custom Bathroom Cabinetry

Delight in the options you have! When you think about bathroom cabinetry, does your mind wander to the under-the-sink cabinets that are standard in most homes? There is nothing wrong with that, but there is so much more that we can offer! Split Jack-and-Jill cabinets and vanities, stand-alone desk-type vanities, free-floating sinks with built-in wall cabinets, and overhead cabinets — the options are limitless! We can help you discover the storage potential in your bathroom to help enhance the space and offer superior functionality.

Custom Storage Shelving

While custom cabinetry may be our bread, custom shelving options are our homemade butter! At Tharp Custom Cabinetry, we believe that no space is complete without custom shelving options. Whether you prefer our custom floating corner shelves or built-in linen storage options, we can tailor-make the best storage option for your space and needs.

Custom Bathroom Cabinetry Options

Customizing your cabinetry means selecting each element of what is used to build it. At Tharp Custom Cabinetry, you and your design team will select every detail of your cabinets from the materials used to install the final product. Some of the design elements that you can choose from include:

To completely customize your bathroom cabinetry, you can select your drawer front and closing options along with handles and knobs, if you choose to have them. Signs It Is Time To Remodel Your Bathroom

Many people don’t take much stock in the bathroom when they are looking at features in a new home. As long as it has a bathroom, many new homeowners are pleased. But, once you’ve had the time to settle in, you may notice that the time spent in your bathroom was not reflective of the thought it was given previously. That’s okay, you can just opt to remodel! Here are some of the tell-tale signs it is time to upgrade or remodel your bathroom.

It is not functional.

Sure, it has all the critical elements of a bathroom — a toilet, a place to bathe, and a place to wash your hands — but there is no flow and no storage. If you find it difficult to complete your morning routine or wind down in a hot, comforting bath, it is time to consider a remodel. Keep in mind that your bathroom is so much more than a place to relieve yourself. We spend, on average, about half an hour in the bathroom each day. For those who take longer getting ready for the day, this time increases. While this doesn’t seem like much, that’s nearly 200 hours each year. Your bathroom should be functional and comfortable — and, dare we say, luxurious. If yours is not, you are due for an upgrade!

You’ve outgrown the space.

It goes without saying that what worked when you were a bachelor in your early 20s fails to live up to your current standards. If your bathroom was perfectly sized when you purchased your home, and your family and daily routine has expanded, but your bathroom has not, it is time for an upgrade. For some households, this can mean a simple addition of storage options like custom cabinetry and storage shelves, while for other homes, this may mean knocking down a wall and expanding the space, or adding an entirely new bathroom somewhere.

Your stock cabinets were built in 1992.

There is something to be offered from stock cabinetry, but it is not meant to last forever. When homes are being built, unless they are custom, there is an assumption that most homeowners will upgrade and customize eventually. If your homes till features the same cabinetry it did when it was originally built, you may consider upgrading to something that is more aesthetically appealing as well as functional for your storage needs — with the durability of real wood.

At Tharp Custom Cabinetry, we are in the mindset that if it wasn’t built by you or for you, it is time to upgrade to something that is! If your bathroom lacks inspiration, storage space, functionality, or an aesthetic appeal, contact us to get your project started today.
